La Fjord 44 Open es la estrella de Fjord Range. Esto se debe principalmente a que ofrece soluciones que su predecesor, el yate Fjord 40, no podía ofrecer. El Fjord 40 Open fue y es un gran éxito, sin embargo el Fjord 44 open ha mejorado y perfeccionado las virtudes de crucero diurno de este yate.
